Discover and explore Christchurch’s different precincts of fine contemporary dealer art galleries. Each week join the group of excited art lovers to discover a different cluster of galleries. With ever changing exhibitions of emerging, mid-career and established artists we are thrilled to discover new artistic expressions. We are introduced to the gallery, gallerist, the exhibition and sometimes we are lucky to get to talk with an artist. We get all the extras of being with a guide the gallerists know and respect. Returning several weeks later to new exhibitions and new fabulous experiences.

Dr. Warren Feeney

We could not have a better guise the Warren. He has a long career in Canterbury arts, as an academic, arts critic in The Post, Director of COCA. He completed his first degrees at Canterbury University and a doctorate at Otago. He is the author of the 20 year  history of SCAPE. He is now filling the gap left by the general print media with a Broadsheet Art Beat

Walk & Talk an Art Precinct is South Precinct:

What a find these Walks are. I went on the first one and will be looking out for every new Walk coming up. I loved the commentary by Warren. AND we had a spontaneous artist talk by Brett Graham., The company was so enjoyable. Being out on a fine spring day was great. I will be taking time off work for the Legacy Walk. Thanks so much.

ArtExplore is a real find. I love contemporary art but don’t really know much about it. This SCAPE Walk with Warren was fantastic. So informative. And a spontaneous Artist Talk by Bret Graham. Superb company. All in the wonderful spring sunshine. I am looking our for all the new walks:
